Cheryl Joyce is an Associate of the Royal College of Music who first began to play the piano at the age of 5. She comes from a very musical family and was first taught by her mother, also a pianist with many years of piano teaching experience.

Cheryl has given piano recitals as a soloist and in ensembles, including television appearances. She also plays the violin, was a member of the Maidenhead Symphony Orchestra for many years, and also sang with the Maidenhead Choral Society.

She currently teaches piano in Maidenhead, Berkshire, and has a very high success rate with students of all ages at varying levels, from beginners to advanced.

Cheryl recollects her early memories of learning to read piano music: of first recognising the C's on the staves and discovering how all the other notes could be worked out from there. The C Method follows this thought process, giving a logical means of working out the notes, for beginners to easily develop the ability to read music by the end of the one book.
